Sometimes I feel a little like a hoarder having keep my first motorcycle all these years.

This tells me at least I don't have it as bad as I could.

Sorry, other than seeing the collection on eBay I know nothing about the collection. Since eBay has since pulled the ad I can't even help you with a seller name.

ok, thanks for for that info. another question, does anyone have information about a 1971 jt1 in the color green? i have one, i cannot find any information about the green model. i havent even seen a picture. i have seen that there was a green option, well sort of, i couldnt see it clearly, but it looked like it said green. it appears to be factory original paint, not a repaint. complete bike is original. it is a metallic green. any help is appreciated.

I have a '74 GTMXA, the one in the top photo. Most of the models seemed to be offered in two colors. I know in '74 the legendary yellow & black was offered along with a more subdued silver. AFAIK the paint schemes where offered across all displacement models. You might have better luck searching for 125 or 250 info. I think there were quite a few more larger displacement bikes built.
