One of the kids on my soccer team had one of these back in the days when the Mongoose was king (I was just starting to race BMX pretty competitively). He let me ride it. That bike was an absolute tank/turd.

Interesting side note. Bob Hannah got his start in BMX. He had never even ridden a real motocross bike until he was 17. Today, most elite motocross/Supercross riders are considering the jump to pro by 16 and have been racing at the national level for 10+ years.
