Check out the super cool degree wheel adapter I found in the mail today. A CD and a little of Joey's layout & design expertise and I had a degree wheel for it too. Thanks Flathead Rob & Joey!

Delta Head
I know someone that has one of these sitting on a shelf.
"Produced in 1957 only as a tuning part for dealers in the US, this is a Tiger 100 Delta head. By all accounts as rare as the proverbial rockin' horse shit..."
"The standard parallel inlet tracts are still part of the casting but never machined out, instead extra meat has been added to the side of the head to allow for the splayed ports similar to the Bonnie set up."

It sure would be sweet on Emma. The simplicity of a single carb is pretty appealing after dealing with a twin carb bike for a few years though.

Bobby Sirkegian
Below is a photo of Bobby Sirkegian from the April 1954 issue of Cycle magazine Flathead Rob sent me recently. Brothers rule.
Check out the spectators in the stands, they are loving it. Maybe they all saw this on TV the night before.

Racing Sweaters
Thanks to Flathead Rob pointing out the Triumph sweaters at Lucky Brand I've been slightly obsessing over Triumph racing Sweaters/Jerseys.
The sweater is really cool but what I'd love to have is a Johnson Motors team jersey like Ed Kretz Jr & Sr wore in 1951. Too bad the Johnson Motors name is now way too preoccupied with making $50 t-shirts for douchebags to reissue anything this cool...
NLAMC has made these Triumph jerseys in the past. Pretty darn cool. If memory serves Rob's lovely wife bought him an HD sweater from NLAMC a couple of years ago for Christmas.
Today I stumbled across GasolineCowboys for the first time. I didn't find anything Triumph through them but absolutely love their Thor jersey.
Incidentally, I'm sure they aren't cheap but they do appear to have the correct colors for Cossacks club sweaters...

Baron's Speed Shop
Vaughn watched Star Wars Episode I for the first time today (well almost, he hid for the Darth Maul vs Qui-Gon part).
Seeing Ewan McGregor made me think of Baron's Speed Shop. I saw an interview with Ewan once talking about the Long Way Round. He confided that carrying a photo of himself as Obi Wan was a pretty effective way of getting himself out of a wrinkle no matter where in the world he was.

C@D Report
Fun day at C@D today. Killer weather. I spent too much time gabbing to take any pictures but there was pretty good turn out. I don't recall seeing anything I haven't posted here before though.
Stephen and I are both still too scarred by a history of British car ownership to leave one stranded on the road. We circled back to check-up on this MGB. Apparently it was the first test drive with a newly installed super charger. Somehow or another the radiator cap had blown loose. We followed them back into town. Thought for a minute Stephen was gonna have to tow them with the Speed Triple.
Pretty rad car. The Mrs. seemed sorta concerned about being stranded on the road. She couldn't be suitably seasoned as the significant other of a British car owner yet. In due time.

Emma Awakes
The carb is leaking and something is not quite right with the clutch. Might be a bit before I can ride it but I'm still pretty stoked to hear it run.
