The Selvedge Yard about Evel's jump bikes.
It's crazy how successful Evel's HD endorsement was in tying his name to the brand. I've argued with many a Hardcore Biker™ (A.K.A. Dentists) about Evel having ridden Triumphs in his early career. According the the post Knievel admitted the Triumph was his favorite jump bike –
“The Harley’s got a little too much torque when it comes to jumping,” according to him.

Unfortunately said Hardcore Biker™ never countered "Of course you know he rode Laverdas too you dumbass." It's kind of a shame really. I learn something new every day.
