La Bajada Hill

Today,
people easily travel in and out of Santa Fe by car. But, in the 1920's
and 1930's, La Bajada Hill was a challenging stretch of Route 66. Check
out this photo from around 1925 of the New Mexico Highway Department's
warning to motorists.
