Kirkland Signature Secrets
Being a Costco Corporate employee I was pleased to see even the rich and famous like Malcolm Stewart prefer Kirkland Signature Microfiber Towels. That said, the best kept motorcycle product secret Costco has to offer is this. You only heard it here.

Rob may have to confirm but I think that's a Chief engine. Anyone know anything about this little beast?

Vincent Lawn Mower
For the motorcycle collector that has everything (like George Barber), here's a Vincent lawn mower. If you have more of a custom bent you might prefer to go this route.

Custom Evolution
I been a fan of Triumpher's black rigid Unit Triumph for years. It's just proportionally perfect and timelessly simple. I must admit I was a little bummed to see it's been converted back to a strutted swingarm. He appears to ride it a lot and it must be the bike he wants so more power to him. I'm still allow to morn a little. The bars, the megaphones, the P-pad. Pretty much perfection. Maybe my taste is behind the fashion curve or whatever but I just don't give a shit.

Vintage Airtime
Just in case you thought the "hugeness" of motocross today was purely an evolution of equipment here's a shot of Guy Cooper going pretty huge on a 1974 Bultaco. This bike might have a full 4" of suspension travel. Guy must have big balls and very strong ankles. Incidentally Guy is also 54 years old.

Bob Budschat Memorial
Bob Budschat's memorial is this Saturday in Maltby. Sadly I'm unable to make it but National #13 Bob Budschat was a real deal living legend. Race in peace, Bob.
BMX History
SE Racing's Scot Breithaupt vs Bob Hannah. By 1976 Scot was the NBA BMX National Champion. By 1976 Bob Hannah was AMA MX Champion.

This one is for George. The exceptionally rare Ferrari 330 GT Superbird. Apparently they were only sold in Canada...

One Moto Show
Great showing at the One Moto Show in Portland, Oregon yesterday. I always struggle with deciding whether or not to post photos. I suspect a lot of effort goes into lighting the bikes to look good at the event but I always find it very difficult to take snapshots. There are A LOT of people and the bikes are pretty close together in some areas. I take snapshots so I can recall details about favorites but inevitably I skip a lot because stressing about getting clear shots starts to impede my overall enjoyment of the show. Also, there tend to be incredible shots of the show if you hunt around. That said I guess I'll post these should I want to find them again at some point.
Sadly, I guess I'm a little socially retarded. Inevitably I start to wig out over the crowds (and hipster poseurs) and by the end I can't even focus on the bikes. Maybe if I have a bike in the show one day and can spread it out over more time I'll enjoy the show more as a whole.

I tend to gravitate to the bikes I'm just dying to ride. This puppy was way up there. http://www.bikeexif.com/alta-redshift-st-street-tracker-concept |
The new 2017 Triumph "Bobber." Seeing it in person didn't really help me decide what I think about it. I guess if you lead with your heart you shouldn't have to think about it. |
This one was high on the "ride it" list. 2 strokes automatically get a +1 in the irresistiblity department. |
Tom Rattan's 1949 Triumph GP. I absolutely LOVE this bike! |
