Swap Meets

Sometimes I get pretty envious of the folks that live in places with good motorcycle swap meets. Buying parts off eBay really burns you out after a while. I like getting to touch a part, meet a human or two and know something about where a given part has been at some point over the last 60+ years. I didn't realize it from day 1, but the social part of vintage motorcycles is the best part. Paying market value (+10% more often than not) to some faceless guy on eBay just sucks the life out of all that. Thankfully I have some great friends that way more than compensate for it. Old motorcycle people really are some of the finest people in the world.

When I got a text at my 2nd Grader's Football game yesterday letting me know someone was Swap Meeting on my behalf I was pretty damn stoked. You rule Nater. I wish I could have been there with you guys!
