Dad came over and helped me work on the Bonnie for a while today. I think I was finally able to sort out the sticky carb slide. Dad did a compression check. The RH cylinder only read about 30 PSI, left was about 90 PSI. He thinks the valves were adjusted improperly and that it may have burnt a valve. The problem cylinder is also the side with the hosed carb so the rings may be shot from oil starvation as a result of the excess fuel.
