Family Roots

My Dad looks pretty proud of that rooster. I think that might be a 1940 Ford Tudor Sedan behind them.

Seattle Cossacks Red Bulletin

I'm not sure how I missed the Seattle Cossacks piece in Red Bull's Red Bulletin online magazine following their Sturgis performances but it's pretty cool exposure for them. The photos capture a really different vibe than any others I've ever seen before. Jimi's flaming board crash photo is nothing short of breath taking. The crash is a much more impressive stunt when you are standing near the wall and can actually feel the heat and see the vapors. Red Bull's photo really captures it well. It's in fact a kinda sketchy. Jimi is a pretty ballsy guy.

Family Roots

This is one of my all-time favorite family photos. The little guy is my paternal grandfather. His dad was a fireman and engineer for the SP&S.

Bard Hanson's Class A Short Tracker - More Race Bike Show

Mike Budschat brought Bard Hanson's beautify restored Bultaco Class A short track racer. This was the bike's first outing in almost fifty years.  So cool that Bard was also on hand.

Bard's Bultaco. I was so focused on the bike I didn't even notice Freddie Kruger standing right there

Siege’s 8th Annual Racing Motorcycle Show

I loved this bike. I could never figure out who the owner was.

This was probably my favorite bike of the show. Yamaha TZ250
