1928 Harley Davidison JDC
Check out this killer 1928 JDC cutdown at the Garage Company. Apparently it's a survivor built in 1938. Awesome.
Gaggle of XR750s
The first XR750 I saw as a kid made a huge impression on me. I think it was the first real race bike I ever saw in the flesh. As a result I still just love them. Apparently I'm not the only one.

Yokohama Triumphs
All three of these Triumphs are at Yokohama. Mike Davis' red "Gila Monster" and Small City Cycles silver bike have both been posted in loads of other places. I hadn't seen the black bike before. It was built by Factory Metal Works. Pretty cool bike.

Speed Week
Thanks to Bubble Visor I saw these pictures from Digital Milk. Killer. Jeff Brock's Bonneville Bomber Buick gets a little wilder every time I see it. I HAVE to make to Speed Week one of these years. It's 100 miles farther coming from Seattle...
Ran When Parked
1964 Jawa Rickman Metisse 500
I can't say what prompted it but there are ton of interesting old race bikes on the Bay this week. Well worth a look around if you are into that sort of thing.

Triumph
I saw this bike over at the Southsiders MC. Cool bike. It encourages me to run with the plate idea on my current project. The early Lucas style taillight is really cool too.

Ran When Parked
1957 Triumph t100/RS Factory Roadracer
You don't see these popup too often. If I happen to hit lottery I'd be fairly willing to make space for it in the garage.
Ran When Parked - Intervention Edition
A reader friend forwarded this bike. The first year OIF bikes are esthetically challenged enough... How could this be allowed?

Fender
Something about the prospect of transitioning soon from 300+ days of sunshine per year to about 60 has me thinking a front fender might just be unavoidable. So how do I add a front fender to my lovely 'Liv without it looking like orthopedic shoes on a bikini model? This is the best approach I've seen.
Next I guess I'll have to address all the hardware that will flash rust...

Plate
Let's see. That looks like John's table. John has a '61 Triumph T110. That's NOT a New Mexico plate... WTF?!

Cannonball 2012
Michael Lichter released his 2012 photos. Super cool as you'd expect. They slightly numb my regret of not getting to see them in the flesh this go around.
Button
I met my favorite daughter for lunch the other day and she dropped this super cool pin of Johnny, his '50 T-Bird and the trophy on me. Pretty rad. I love that kid!

The Enthusiast
A very generous friend of mine offered to let me borrow his collection of "The Enthusiast" magazines yesterday. I was very excited to have a chance to look through them all. I've always been a huge fan of motorcycle magazines. Unfortunately I don't have the disposal income required to buy vintage motorcycle magazines very often. It might be a blessing in a way. I'm sure old magazines could easily become a compulsion for me.
When the offer was made to borrow the magazines there was one particular issue I was really hoping to find. Incredibly, I did in fact find it.
I'm sure there are Seattle Cossack members that already have the September 1949 issue but I thought it was a pretty cool find nonetheless.
