I was just telling Flathead Rob how much I liked the Panhead Trent is working on when I was up at his place the other day. When I first walked in I hardly even noticed it. The paint is pretty amazing but I'd seen it around a lot in it's previous incarnation. That said the more I stood there and looked at it the more I realized I really liked it. The stance and proportions are quite striking in person. Any bike that leaves thinking nothing but "I just wanna ride off on it" is doing something right in my book. The museum piece 60's "show bike" is all you seem to see the last few years. It's cool to just see a no BS motorcycle.

I saw the posting on Jockey Journal. I really think it's cool too. You should check out the "before use" and "after use" pictures of Xian's (sp?) tooled saddle. Now that's patina!
