Rubone

I met a guy on the JJ that has been collecting Triumph stuff since the 60's. He currently lives in Taos but once worked at Alcon Harley Davidson in Albuquerque. Albuquerque Dealer. Anyone old enough to remember Alcon?

He mentioned that if I found myself in Taos some time he'd show me around his private shop. He said that he's been collecting stuff so long that it's sort of set up like a museum. I think this might be a picture of it. Wow.

UPDATE - I was guessing this was Robbie's shop. I got curious enough to ask him. He sent me a couple more pictures...

Road trip at Christmas? The jacket with the Mazda Rotary looking emblem on the front is an American Motorcycle Association (AMA) jacket from the '40's or '50's. Any event not sanctioned by the AMA back in the day was known as an "outlaw" event. Took it a while for it to morph into the Hells Angels definition of outlaw...

Looks like he's got a lot of Harley stuff too.
