Built Not Bought

My 7 year old is a hopeless gearhead. As far as I can tell he was absolutely born with it. One example of this is his current Lego obsession. He just can't get enough of them. Who but a "hot rodder" kid would have a set like at the top of his wish list?

 

You might not be able to tell from the photo but it's motor and LED "headlights" you can build into whatever vehicle you are building.

I've been thinking he really needs an Erector Set. He is just dying build something with real tools. I'm confident once he has a set it's only a matter of time until he builds one of these.
