Your earlier discussion with English Steven about making lighter bikes reminded me of the favorite slogan of a famous military airplane designer named Ed Heinemann (most famous for designing the Douglas A-4 which the Blue Angels flew for a while. His mantra was "Simplicate and add lightness." Nothing like airplanes to emphasize that less is often more...
