Not certain. Immediate post-war civilian (CJ-2, CJ-3 is my guess). The tailgate definitely pegs it as civilian. Looks like it might have a drawbar type hitch. Right after WWII jeep tried to market to farmers, as a car and a tractor all in one. Think it was kinda mediocre at both...
The slick white-wall is a nice touch...
