Route 66 Chief Session

Big thanks to Mark Kirkland for taking time out to shoot the Route 66 Chief. Mark had some camera troubles but I suspect we still got some good stuff. Finicky old motorcycles shot in finicky old 35mm... felt just right.

We found a Harbor Freight, Mark pulled the camera base plate and improvised full on "safe cracker" manual mode. Didn't missing a beat. Film ain't for the faint of heart. I'm absolutely fine with it. I bet Mark's Canon 35mm was made before he was. Doesn't hurt a bit knowing Mark is capable of stuff like this. Thanks Mark. I'll undoubtedly be nagging you again for another one of my bikes...

Mark was super cool to work with. It's so great to be working with a photographer who is clearly a "bike" guy. I am eager to see the results!
