Forks 2.0

Not to be a dick but I think it's starting to look pretty cool. The forks are quite a bit stiffer with the higher spring rate and proper oil level. I'm gonna have to cut down the kickstand before someone knocks it over.

I think it looks great. Puts it on more of an even keel than without the shortening... Wow, who did your oil tank plumbing, that's really killer!!

I ordered a flathead patch from Lowbrow customs last night. Isn't that where you got your hardtail?

The 1956 pre-unit could use an early fifties hartail with no midification if I remember right...

I bought my HT from Wes at Four Aces but David Bird builds them in any case. Joey got my jacket from Lowbrow.

David makes both bolt ons and entire frames for pre-units that are really nice (I think they're on the Lowbrow site). I think you're right about the stock HT's, they're just a little scarce. Wes or Mike Davis probably have a source...
