Role Model

Some guys have the coolest toys. Something about this makes a Ducati with every carbon fiber doohickey you can buy seem a little pathetic.

Mystery Machine

OK all you smart guys. What is this? Me thinks the Royal Enfield decals are a ruse. The side you can't see holds a turbocharger, a intercooler tank, and loads of hand formed aluminum.

Thanks for sharing Lurker Tom.

Swag

New high zoot quick change tool post.

Sexy new drill press vice.

Only Paul Teutul has a shop better equipped with tools he can't really use. That's envy you are feeling little people.

Cannonball

Paul d'Orleans has one of the nicest write-ups on the current Cannonball I've seen over at Cycle World.

Ran When Parked

Ah man... Hatch is selling his Sporty. I'm not much of a Sportster fan (especially not Ironheads)but this bike has always been the exception.

Free The Wheels

I can't say exactly why but I'm diggin' this illustration from Free the Wheels. There's some cool stuff over there. Check it out.

Ran When Parked

1977 Yamaha RD400
In the finest tradition of "Ran When Parked, the following is the CL ad text:
ran when parked needs tune up and oil change to run and run it will very quick little bikes. has mag wheels and chambers"

Seems like a fairly reasonable price. Buy it someone in ABQ.

I've got to own an RD some day.

Fork Stops

The fork stops on my T110 frame are no going to work with the earlier style Pre-Unit forks I'm going to run. I improvised some forks stops but I had convinced myself the were pretty damn lame. I stumbled onto this post on JJ that Tyler from Lowbrow started. His are pretty cool.

Welded a tab to the neck as a stop

Drilled lower tree for 5/16" round stock

Bottom of bottom tree, pre-welding...

Welded up...

Cut off stock stops and cleaned up lower tree a bit

Finished fork stops.. Nice and simple, once headlight is mounted you won't even seem them.

Ran When Parked

This 1951 Vincent Rapide might well be the only Vincent I've ever seen on eBay. English Stephen better start cashing in his recyclables to raise money. Luckily there's plenty of room for Sam with the sidecar so it's also quite practical.

On a serious note, what do you wanna bet this one ends before the auction ends...

Garage Company

I was surprised to see Kiyo's announcement that he is leaving Garage Company. Kiyo built the engine in Flathead Rob's '38 U for it's previous owner. Rob mentioned Kiyo's documentation was amazing. When Rob visited GC and asked a few questions about his engine Kiyo went straight to the shelf and pulled out a notebook with all the build details meticulously documented.
