The last photo of the Harley WLA has a rider that surely resembles the famous Joe Petrali............Could it be??

I can definitely see the resemblance. I did a little digging I eventually traced that photo to a site who's proprietor is a meticulous WWII motorcycle historian. The rider is not identified only stating the photo came from the proprietor's personal collection. It's possible but knowing this guy's usual vigilance I think it's a little unlikely. For most this guy's photos he'd site the precise manufacturer of the rider's socks. He's kind of amazing. http://www.theliberator.be/
