I happen to be the owner and seller of this panel. It is indeed real and came out of the Seattle area. It was purchased new in 1947 by A.J. French of French's Lionel Train Shop and remained the family shop truck until it was sold in 1988 and was moved to Utah where it has been in storage ever since.
