"I bought it from a collector in Albuquerque and at the time all I was doing was flipping bikes as fast as I bought them. The first time I saw it I was completely won over but it wasn't for sale at that time. Later it came on the market and I bought it at my wifes insistence."
Something tells me I know the collector he bought it from. For whatever reason it just makes me sad. I guess that's why I never sell anything.

tell me the inside story!
That sure is pretty. So when do we approach "the Albuquerque collector" about a later Velocette?
Vorhese, there's no real juicy inside story.
The coolest local vintage bike guy also happen to have the market pretty well cornered in Velocettes. I have no beef what-so-ever with the original poster nor do I even know him. The guy owns Indian(s) and is building a Race Kit T100 so he's got to be cool. I just can't bear seeing cool old stuff get flipped.
What does my opinion matter, I'm just a chronic motorcycle polygamist. For that matter I get the sneaking feeling you are too...
Flathead Rob, I've mentioned it. Got finish the Tiger and quit warehousing other peoples bike first;)
Except for McCain/Palin poster, so much envy
I never mix politics and motorcycles...
