Redline Frames

My youngest son recently grew into a new BMX bike and opted for a new Redline.

Being a kid that's as big a gearhead nostalgia buff as I am that soon had us talking Redline history. I've mentioned Redline here in the past. Like a lot of other early BMX companies Redline began by building high-end motorcycle racing frames and tube dragster frames. Who'd have guessed it would be BMX they'd ultimately build a dynasty around.

The frame pictured above is a replacement Honda XR75 frame pictured with a similar era BMX frame. Below is a '69 Norton built around a Redline frame.
