This picture isn't the greatest, but this bike was immaculate. A young kid had just completed the restoration. Said it was the first true "Superbike", and pretty rare and valuable. He wanted $15,000 for it. For that price, it had better be rare!

If I were hunting for a Japanese restoration project it would have to be a two stroke. A Yamaha RD400 or I have lusted after Suzuki GT 750 "Water Buffalo's" since I was about 8. Even then I'd rather do one up cafe style with clip-ons etc. rather than restore one. They sound likt they are from Mars when you hear one today http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DlcuO3BtOkE&feature=related.
