I think I could have a new favorite motorcycle every day. This Matt Walksler built 1926 HD FHAC is mine today.

Lineup
I lifted this one from Nater Patater's FB page. Must be a period shot (circa 1939) of the Vintage Classic Motorcycles collection. ;)

Bucket List - Penny Farthing
Firmly planted on my bucket list - I've wanted to try riding a Penny Farthing since I was about 5 years old. I have to knock this out while I am still young enough to fall off of one without busting a hip.

Hand Made
For those of you considering one of the made in India reproduction parts that flood eBay you may want to check this out first. This was purchased as a reproduction of a rare "race kit" like 1 gallon oil tank. This is what the buyer found when he stripped off the paint and body filler. Wow.

Route 66 Chief Session
Big thanks to Mark Kirkland for taking time out to shoot the Route 66 Chief. Mark had some camera troubles but I suspect we still got some good stuff. Finicky old motorcycles shot in finicky old 35mm... felt just right.
We found a Harbor Freight, Mark pulled the camera base plate and improvised full on "safe cracker" manual mode. Didn't missing a beat. Film ain't for the faint of heart. I'm absolutely fine with it. I bet Mark's Canon 35mm was made before he was. Doesn't hurt a bit knowing Mark is capable of stuff like this. Thanks Mark. I'll undoubtedly be nagging you again for another one of my bikes...

Suter MMX500
I'm normally somewhat a supporter of Jay Leno's “I don’t trust a motorcycle I can’t see through” adage. That said I'm willing to give this bike a shot. I'm all practicality and good judgement when it comes to two strokes. Anyone have a spare $123,000 in the couch cushions?

28/48 Indian
Here's one you don't see every day. A 1948 Indian Chief engine in a 1928 Indian Chief chassis. It's pretty cool but $35,000 seems like a lot dough for effectively a "bitsa."
