Ran When Parked - Local Edition
Flathead Rob & I rescued a 1971 Honda CB450 from the crusher last night. It's rough (loads of surface rust) but very complete and original. The engine turns over and might even have some compression. Both of the Root Bros. motorcycle stables are full so if you think you know someone that might be interested in it please let me know.
It has a valid title too! When these were new, the advertising slogan bragged about 43hp from a 450 cc... I think 45 hp was about what a well-tuned stock Harley Knucklehead 74" (1200 cc) would produce.
