My grandpa who won it in 1955 says it was a fun little track. rough and tight. He would have won it again in 1956 but Wayne wright (Sp)on a matchless and Eldon Wright who was the Triumph Rep and riding a 650 triumph were riding very defensibly in the corners and pulling away on the straights with there bigger bikes. Eldon would later supply the bikes my grandpa rode and won at the Boise national TT in 1957 and 1958 Ive heard some great stories about those races. Still have the 1st place trophy from the 1955 death head. and some fun pictures to boot.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
