Lower photo: is Elmer Bergstrom that set a 24 hour record on a light weight motorcycle at the Tacoma Track.<br />The photo journalist that took the photos was Frank Richardson Pierce."<br /><br />The bottom bike is rather unique. An Indian Model "O". Intended to be an entry level bike, power came from a 15.7 cubic inch (257 cc) fore and aft opposed twin, rated at 2.75 hp, propelling the machine to a top speed of 45 mph.
